Nature

We work with natural processes to produce the best food we can. If it doesn’t work for nature, it doesn’t work for us. Our goal is to build biodiversity and have healthy soils. The long-term health of our land is our greatest asset.

Welfare

The animals that live here are a part of our team. It is our duty to ensure they can express their natural behaviours, live a low-stress life and have all the food, water and shelter that they need. At the end of the day, we ask a lot of our animals, and it is only right that they should live the best possible lives in their time with us.

Local food

Our goal is to feed our local community. We work to produce food of exceptional quality. We acknowledge the importance of direct sales and sustaining local supply chains. We play our role in a global society as storytellers and educators, but we prioritise our food for those around us.

People

Our mission is to help reconnect people with the land they come from, the food they eat, the water they drink and the air they breathe.

We strive to engage with people all over the world about how we work holistically to achieve positive outcomes for all. We believe that positive, solution-focused messages drive the long-term changes that we need to heal ourselves and our relationship with our planet.

Viability

The success of our work is based on five key factors: our physical health, our mental health, the health of our land, the health of our animals, and financial stability. We endeavour to keep these in balance to build and share with others a sustainable way of living and running a business.
