We love growing our own produce and to help our local community do the same, we are delighted to be stockists for organic, peat-free Dalefoot Composts.

By blending potash from rich bracken and Herdwick wool on their Lake District farm, Dalefoot Composts produce premium peat-free composts for organic growing (Soil Association approved). Using old gardening recipes, they have worked for over 20 years developing a range of wholesome composts that are sustainable, farm-made, are easy to use and most importantly do what they promise.

Collection Available: Only compost that has been purchased via our online shop below can be collected on Saturday mornings between 10am and 12pm. Please contact in advance to agree collection date and time.

Free Doorstep Delivery on Wednesdays to Grantown-on-Spey: After order, please contact us to advise if you would like delivery.

Produce terms and conditions

All purchase transactions must be made via our website, and only items paid for in advance may be collected.

Items purchased and already collected are non-refundable. Items bought but not yet collected can receive a full refund minus the 2%-3.1% (depending on card used) +25p booking fee within 7 days of purchase.

We do not offer a postal service for this compost.

We accept no responsibility for the quality of the compost. Any complaints should be made to Dalefoot Composts directly.
